Post-op recovery plan software

Turn post-op protocols into personalized recovery plans

Remobil helps physical therapists and surgeons give every patient a dated plan built from the clinic's own protocol: the current phase, today's exercises, what to avoid, and exactly when to call.

Example: what the patient sees

Achilles tendon repair, left

Day 31 week 5 of your recovery

Phase 3 of 8 Boot, 2 wedges

Walk on your full weight in the boot and come off crutches.

Today's exercises

  • Ankle pumps 3 sets of 10
  • Seated heel raise 3 sets of 15

Avoid

  • Standing or walking with the boot off

In 11 days Take out 1 more heel wedge

How it works

  1. Start from a protocol

Pick a protocol template for the surgery, or upload the surgeon's protocol as a PDF, fax or phone photo. Remobil reads it and fills in the plan, so nobody retypes it.

  2. Make it this patient's plan

Enter the surgery date and adjust any phase's timing, precautions or exercises. Every phase gets real dates. Nothing is saved until the therapist has reviewed it.

  3. Send it

Text it, email it or print it. The patient opens the link, confirms their date of birth, and sees where they are in their recovery today. No app to install, no account to create.

Built around the people who write the protocols

For physical therapists

  • Build a plan in minutes from the surgeon's protocol, without retyping it.
  • An exercise library with pictures, like your paper home-program sheets, plus your clinic's own exercises.
  • Revise a plan when a visit note arrives. Earlier versions stay on record.

For surgeons

  • Your protocol, followed as written, with every phase dated from the surgery date.
  • Patients know what's allowed this week and what isn't.
  • Clear instructions on when to call, with your clinic's number one tap away.

For patients

  • Today's day, phase, exercises and precautions, on their own phone.
  • Large, plain type that is easy to read when tired, medicated or in pain.
  • Upcoming appointments and milestones, so nothing comes as a surprise.

Built for protected health information

  • No passwords to leak

Staff sign in with the clinic's own work accounts, such as Google Workspace. Remobil never sees or stores a password.

  • Locked patient links

A plan opens only with its private link and the patient's date of birth. The link locks after repeated wrong attempts and can be revoked.

  • Nothing clinical in messages

Texts and emails carry only the clinic's name and the link: no procedure, dates or diagnosis.

  • Encrypted and audited

Data is encrypted with dedicated keys on HIPAA-eligible AWS services. Every view, send and change is written to an audit log, and uploaded protocols are deleted as soon as they have been read.

Questions

What is Remobil?

Remobil is recovery plan software for physical therapy clinics and orthopedic surgeons. It turns a post-operative protocol into a dated, personalized plan for each patient and shows the patient what applies to them today.

Where does the name come from?

From remobilization: the phase of recovery when a patient moves from protection after surgery back to loading and everyday movement. That journey is what every Remobil plan maps out.

Who decides what goes in a plan?

The patient's clinicians. Templates are starting points that a clinic reviews and adapts, and every plan is checked by a therapist before it is sent. Remobil does not give medical advice.

Do patients need an app or an account?

No. Patients open their plan in any web browser from the link the clinic sends, and confirm their date of birth. Plans can also be printed.

Can we use the protocols we already have?

Yes. Upload a surgeon's protocol as a PDF, a fax or a photo and Remobil reads it against the plan's phases. The therapist reviews every difference before anything is saved. When an updated protocol or visit note arrives later, the plan is revised the same way.

How does my team sign in?

With the work accounts you already use. Google Workspace works today; Microsoft 365 and SAML single sign-on (Okta, ADFS and others) are coming soon.

Give your next patient a plan they can follow.
